UNS N07090 is a nickel-based superalloy composed primarily of nickel (up to 90%), chromium (14-16%), and cobalt (1-2%). It also contains small amounts of titanium (0.5-1.5%), aluminum (0.5-1%), and molybdenum (1-2%) to enhance its mechanical properties. This alloy exhibits excellent high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and creep resistance, making it ideal for applications such as turbine blades, gas turbines, and industrial equipment. It has a tensile strength of approximately 900-1100 MPa and a yield strength of 500-700 MPa. Nimonic 90 maintains its integrity at elevated temperatures up to around 950°C, providing reliable performance in demanding environments.
