UNS N06075 is a high-performance nickel-based alloy primarily composed of nickel (up to 75%), chromium (14-16%), iron (3-5%), and molybdenum (2-3%). It also contains small amounts of aluminum (0.6-0.9%) and titanium (0.8-1.2%) to enhance its mechanical properties. This alloy exhibits excellent mechanical strength, creep resistance, and oxidation resistance at high temperatures, with a tensile strength of around 850-1000 MPa and a yield strength of 450-700 MPa. Nimonic 75 maintains its integrity even at elevated temperatures up to approximately 900°C, making it ideal for applications such as turbine blades and combustion chamber components in the aerospace industry.
