Haynes 230 Bar is a high performance alloy consisting mainly of nickel (about 55-60%), chromium (20-23%) and tungsten (12-15%). It provides exceptional resistance to high temperature oxidation, thermal stability, and creep ability. Its mechanical properties include high tensile strength (up to 850 MPa), excellent fatigue resistance, and excellent weldability. The Haynes 230 Bar is ideal for high temperature applications, such as gas turbines, heat exchangers and furnace components. Advantages include excellent resistance to carburization and sulfidation, outstanding thermal stability and long-term performance in harsh environments.
