Duplex steel washers are made of a balanced mixture of austenite and ferritic phases, generally containing 22-25% chromium, 4-7% nickel, and 3-5% molybdenum, where the carbon content is low it provides a strength a high tensile strength, typically around 620 -850 MPa, as well as Excellent corrosion resistance, especially against stress corrosion cracking and pitting, their mechanical properties also include excellent ductility and toughness.
