Duplex Steel check valves are made from Duplex Steel S32205 or S31803, typically including around 22-23% chromium, 4.50-6.50% nickel, and 3.0-3.5% molybdenum blended with iron. This composition ensures high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and effective protection against stress corrosion cracking and pitting. The check valves are known for their superior durability and toughness, making them ideal for challenging environments. They offer high resistance to chloride-induced corrosion and are cost-effective compared to super duplex steel, making them a preferred choice for demanding chemical, oil and gas, and marine applications.
