AWS class ERNiCrMo-3 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy welding wire, commonly used with SAW (submerged arc welding) and flux. The composition of the wire typically contains 58% nickel, 20-23% chromium, 8-10% molybdenum, iron and trace elements. It provides exceptional resistance to corrosion, oxidation and high temperatures, making it ideal for welding in harsh environments including chemical processing and offshore applications Mechanical properties include excellent tensile strength and hardness.
